I’m Gabriel Cornejo—Core-nay-ho—"The Voice for Average Americans", running for U.S. House of Representatives, District 1, in our great state of Nevada.

Our ship is sinking—and I’d rather stop those drilling the holes than enjoy the music as we go down.

Not born in a manger, but was raised to believe in someone who was. That person carried a message of love and compassion, which shaped my life early on. Born August 14, 1982, I grew up in a non-traditional home, raised by my mom and grandparents.

With empathy as a foundation, early into my childhood, I joined classmates and our teacher in shaving our heads for a friend diagnosed with cancer, to show him he wasn’t alone. Nicknamed the “Bald Eagles,” our story spanned the nation, from “Good Morning America” to "People" magazine—not for curing cancer, but demonstrating an act of love.

My friend recovered. But that experience, along with my own near-fatal rollover car accident, had a profound impact—life's not promised tomorrow, everyone deserves the opportunity to find fulfillment and chase their dreams.

In America, dreams often come in the form of starting a business. And monopolies pose a threat to those dreams, small businesses, communities, and democracy itself. Leading me away from the largest smart meter project in the country, where I’d just won “Project of the Year”, to take on the biggest threat I saw directly—Amazon.

The goal was to build a company (MyBeeble) to level the playing field for "Mom and Pop" shops to compete and prevent us from becoming "The United States –brought to you by Amazon." The result, receiving national recognition, a spot on a reality TV show, while serving thousands, but well short of the goal.

My track record of commitment to helping others continued as a founder of a new division for the American Red Cross during Hurricane Harvey, leading 50 volunteers to build a nonprofit delivery platform for local retailers and food banks during COVID, and eventually running for President of the United States in 2024.

I dream of a nation where people find fulfillment—not just survive from paycheck to paycheck. Prioritizing profits over people is not love. And love—shown to me from the start—is what drives me.

Today, that fight continues. Our political system is bought and paid for, leaving working families to deal with the consequences. It’s time for leaders who understand what’s at stake.

As your future congressman, I commit to prioritizing people, over politics. Period.
